Tim Nulty started at UMass Dartmouth in 2004 where he is a Professor of Philosophy. He served as chair the Department of Philosophy from 2010 - 2019. He was elected president of the Northern New England Philosophical Association in 2007 and again in 2014, and hosted their annual conference at UMass Dartmouth. Professor Nulty has published a book and numerous articles on a wide variety of philosophical topics. His research focuses on the intersections of 20th century analytic and continental philosophy in the areas of philosophy of mind, philosophy of language and metaphysics. He is especially interested in the nature of truth.
