About

Maryellen D. Brisbois PhD, RN, PH-CNS is an Associate Professor in the Community Nursing Department at the University of Dartmouth Massachusetts. Her role in teaching across programs (UG-PhD) focuses on the global burden of chronic and infectious diseases, social determinants of health, and health care systems worldwide to create awareness and educational interventions among people who are vulnerable both locally and globally. More recently, she has explored Caring Science in Nursing Curricula and Global Citizenship Education.
