About

Dr. Kristin Corey Magan is an Assistant Professor in the Adult Nursing Department at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth, where she received her PhD in Nursing in 2017. In 2019, she completed a 2-year NINR-funded postdoctoral research fellowship at the NewCourtland Center for Transitions and Health at the University of Pennsylvania. Her program of research is centered on the long-term impacts of caregiving on family caregivers of persons with Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias. She is a certified Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner with substantive clinical experience in long-term care and in the management of older adults with living with dementia.
