Dr. Kokluce is a Assistant Teaching Professor of Mathematics with over 20 years of experience teaching at the college level. He has taught a broad range of courses, including College Algebra, Statistics, Calculus, Discrete Mathematics, Number Theory, Abstract Algebra, Abstract Mathematics, Analytic Geometry, Mathematics for Liberal Arts, and others. He is recognized for his strong record of student engagement and consistently high teaching evaluations.
In addition to his teaching, Dr. Kokluce has an active research background in Number Theory, with more than 20 articles published in peer-reviewed journals. His mathematical research has focused on Quadratic Forms Modular Forms, Representation Numbers of Quadratic Forms and Convolutions Sums of Divisors Functions.
More recently, Dr. Kokluce has expanded his work into Data Science and Statistics, completing a 10-month Data Science bootcamp and developing expertise in Python-based data analytics, statistical modeling, and applications of machine learning. His current academic interests include mathematics education, student retention in STEM, and integrating data science methodologies into undergraduate mathematics and statistics curricula.
