About

Max is a Postdoctoral Fellow in the School for Marine Science and Technology at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth. He has a Ph.D. and M.S. in Oceanography from the University of Connecticut and a B.S. in Marine Biology from the University of Rhode Island. His reserch broadly examines the eco-physiology, and life history traits of marine organisms, how they may react to anthropogenic changes to the environment, and what these potential implications may be for aquaculture and fisheries. This includes changes in pH (ocean acidification), temperature (global warming), energy development (offshore windfarms), and fisheries exploitation. He utilizes an intrdisciplinary approach which includes experimental, field, and modeling approaches.
