About

Dr Kristen Sethares' research is about promoting self-care particulary symptom self-care in people with heart failure. She is interested in factors that affect timely self-care including literacy, learning style, beliefs and demographic factors. Since symptoms typically occur in clusters, her recent work has focused on determining which clusters of symptoms occur in what people. She is also a certified nurse educator.
