Abstract
In the self-referenced two-fiber sensor system whose performance is presently analyzed, two identical multimode fibers are used for microdistance measurements. The analytical model employed, for which computer simulation results are presented, is based on the Fresnel and Fraunhofer approximations. (AIAA)
