Abstract
A distortion-invariant joint transform correlation (JTC), based on the fractional power fringe-adjusted joint transform correlation and synthetic discriminant function, is investigated. By suitably adjusting the parameters used to characterize the fractional power fringe-adjusted filter formulation, we obtain JTC-based classical matched filtering, fringe-adjusted filtering, and amplitude-modulated phase-only filtering. Computer simulation results show that the proposed joint transform correlation is distortion-invariant for the target image from the training set. ©
